CONSULTING AND DESIGN

Sometimes people just want a little advice along the way of a DIY project while others might need a full site inventory, analysis and design for a larger project - we have the whole spectrum covered whether it's for something as small as an outdoor sink or something as big as a whole property. We aim to maximize efficiency of ecological systems - what is the least amount of input to get the greatest desired effect.
Systems we specialize in
  • Regenerative ecological design
  • Active rainwater harvesting using storage tanks
  • Passive rainwater harvesting using earthworks and building healthy soil
  • Greywater systems - laundry to landscape - outdoor shower - and more
  • Edible and useful landscape plantings with a focus on perennials
  • Low water use and gravity irrigation systems
  • Landscape elements built of repurposed materials
Overview of the process
  • Understand client goals through thoughtful conversation
  • Collect site data and observe project site including surrounding areas
  • Identify assets and constraints
  • Develop budget and provide proposal
  • Utilize adaptive management throughout design and implementation process
